Job description

  • Lead Safety Operations at a Major Industrial Site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and update safety processes, including MHI Safety Case management

  • Oversee ESH budgets, procurement, and expenditures

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

  • Manage ESH documentation, SOPs, and audit readiness

  • Liaise with authorities and respond to incidents or non-conformities

  • Conduct ESH risk assessments, health screenings, and internal audits

  • Oversee staff ESH training, development, and performance

  • Plan and implement initiatives aligned with ISO standards (45001, 14001, SS651)

Requirements:

  • Degree in ESH, Chemical Engineering, or related field

  • WSH Level C, Confined Space Assessor, WAH Assessor, and BizSafe Level 2 certified

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with 3 in a managerial role

  • Strong knowledge of ISO systems, risk assessment, and EAI processes

  • Experienced in stakeholder communication and regulatory liaison

  • Skilled in vendor management and people development

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Integrity-driven, assertive, and adaptable team leader
