The client of ours is a Global Conglomerate within the Technology Service Industry with presence across America, Europe and Asia Pacific. They are currently expanding their footprint in APAC and is looking for an experienced Director, Project Management (Audio Visual) to be based in Singapore. This is a people management role.
Responsibilities:-
- To lead the strategic planning and execution of multiple projects and programs.
- Manages the alignment of personnel and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Establishes budgets, policies, and procedures to support operational effectiveness.
- Emphasizes results-driven leadership while ensuring consistent execution of large-scale initiatives.
- Collaborates with leadership to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects and programs.
- Recruits, develops, and evaluates team members to ensure efficient project and program execution.
- Provides strategic oversight by establishing project management standards, tools, and processes to drive consistency and excellence.
- Defines methodologies for setting productivity and quality benchmarks and evaluating outcomes across all initiatives.
- Oversees projects from initiation through delivery, working closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
- Engages with customers to define project requirements and negotiate specifications.
- Leads the development and execution of detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables using tools such as Microsoft Teams, with organized documentation structures.
- Establishes Risk Registers for all projects/programs and proactively addresses issues that could impact customer satisfaction or delivery timelines, coordinating cross-functional solutions.
- Owns overall program success and regularly communicates status updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualification:-
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 12 years of senior-level experience in Program/Project Management.
- PMP certification would be an added advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build alignment, foster partnerships, and navigate conflict constructively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage executive-level audiences and adapt messaging to suit diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic, solutions-focused thinker with a keen ability to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
- Proven experience managing large, matrixed teams in complex, interdependent environments.
- Demonstrates agility in navigating ambiguity while maintaining momentum and fostering strong team engagement.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
