A leading company in Singapore seeks an IT Project Manager to oversee technical projects, ensuring high-quality support and timely delivery. The role involves managing project schedules, resolving issues, and collaborating with teams to achieve project goals. Ideal candidates will have a degree in IT or cybersecurity and at least two years of project management experience. Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality support to all open projects of the Technical Team.
Ensure that clients receive the best support they need.
Resolve escalated customer complaints without supervisor intervention.
Organise and control project elements and provide reports to the Technical Director on project status.
Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel; reviewing contractor bids.
Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Determine project schedule by studying the project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible for professional services targets.
Work closely with the commercial team to ensure swift project closure.
Manage internal project team members and external vendor/partners.
Report any project issue in a timely manner to the relevant personnel to reduce time wastage.
Ensure the project tasks are monitored, tracked, and completed on time; negotiate with the customer in case of delays or gaps
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Job Requirements:
Degree in IT/Cybersecurity certification or equivalent
Certifications (Preferred): CAPM / PMP / Scrum
CCNA / Microsoft CCSE/ ITIL v3
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT project management
Highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies, able to work under pressure
Resourceful, creative, independent, and able to work well in a team
Action and customer-oriented
Excellent time management skills
Take initiative and adheres to deadlines
Take ownership of projects and communicate effectively with information holders
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing, and communication skills
Strong soft skills
Able to communicate IT technology and process effectively
Experience in managing small to mid-sized IT solution projects
