Job description

VP/Senior Director - Business Development - K.Lee

Our client is seeking a VP/Senior Director to steer cross-functional initiatives to deliver cohesive and immersive destination experiences, aligning commercial, event, and product strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the conceptualization and rollout of thematic, experiential activations across key precincts to enhance the destination’s value and appeal.

  • Provide strategic input into long-term master planning initiatives, particularly in envisioning future development areas and experience-led placemaking.

  • Oversee leasing strategies, using them as a tool to elevate the destination’s experience offerings and economic performance.

  • Lead domestic and international sales efforts, driving both B2B and B2C growth in visitor volume and spend across leisure and business segments.

  • Curate and scale a dynamic year-round event calendar aimed at establishing the location as a premier event destination across multiple audience segments.

  • Foster strategic alliances, partnerships, and sponsorships to amplify the destination’s reach and revenue potential.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, Real Estate, Urban Development, or a relevant field.

  • Proven 15 years of track record in business development, experiential design, placemaking, or immersive technology applications (e.g., AR/VR), including experience managing commercial platforms.

  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and performance tracking.

  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder negotiations, and concept ideation.

  • A proactive and resourceful individual who takes initiative

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Comfortable and capable of excelling in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
