Job Description:
- Updating inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records for management and stakeholders.
- Keeping detailed and current records of all purchases, including prices, quantities, and delivery dates, for easy reference and reporting.
- Conducting market research to identify new suppliers, products, and technologies; staying updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and industry regulations to inform purchasing decisions.
- Monitoring stock levels, anticipating future needs, and coordinating with the warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels; addressing potential shortages or excesses.
- Assisting in developing and monitoring departmental budgets, ensuring purchasing aligns with financial guidelines, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Preparing regular reports on purchasing activities, expenditures, savings, and supplier performance for management review.
Skills:
