Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead the planning, execution, and support of fleet management and IoT solution deployments. This role is critical in ensuring seamless project implementation, efficient resource allocation, SLA adherence, and strong coordination between technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in managing hardware provisioning, field operations, and post-deployment service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Service Delivery Management

  • Lead technical and operations teams in project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support.
  • Ensure service jobs and field servicing requests are completed within SLA timelines.
  • Delegate implementation tasks and manage personnel and technical resources to meet project goals.
  • Provide technical recommendations to resolve on-site or system issues and escalate to principals or clients where necessary.
  • Conduct project evaluation planning, including on-site surveys and solution scoping based on customer requirements.

System Configuration & Solution Design

  • Oversee configuration of hardware and IoT systems according to client specifications.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to propose solutions and alternatives when direct fixes are unavailable.
  • Validate hardware testing results and evaluate product suitability for deployment.

Inventory & Asset Management

  • Monitor inventory levels of critical deployment stock and communicate shortages to stakeholders.
  • Ensure spare parts availability in operational vehicles and warehouses.
  • Approve technical and deployment-related purchase requests and maintain procurement alignment with demand forecasts.
  • Review and validate inventory documentation, including inbound tracking and stock movement records.

Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Source, engage, and manage third-party vendors to ensure consistent service quality and timely hardware supply.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to recommend hardware and specifications for quotation and client proposals.
  • Liaise with suppliers for product evaluation and continuous improvement.

Operational & Administrative Oversight

  • Review and approve Notices of Billing ensuring accurate resource tracking for invoicing purposes.
  • Escalate unresolved NOBs and billing issues to the internal finance or operations team.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of operational activities, hardware testing, and field deployments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, business management, operations management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations, ideally within fleet management or IoT environments.
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and team coordination abilities.
  • Working knowledge of IoT hardware, fleet systems, and networked solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to resolving operational issues.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, SLA-driven service models, and vendor negotiation.
