Enterprise Applications Engineer (No exp welcome/East)

Job Description:

• 1 year contract (renewable/convertible) with full benefits
• No Exp welcome to apply
• Near Bedok
  
• 8.30am - 6pm, Mon - Thur, 8.30am - 5.30pm, Fri

Responsibilities:

• Provide application support for all users on enterprise applications (e.g., IT Ticketing systems, SharePoint, DocuSign, SimplyBook, etc). This includes application software configuration, programming, enhancement, and testing based on changing business requirements.
• Work with internal and external parties on technical solutions and solution implementations.
• Manage mini projects and ensure successful implementation by performing regular progress/performance monitoring.
• Ensure that all requirements are captured and work with vendor on the User Acceptance Tests specifications.
• Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in compiling and providing the required materials for IT Audits.
• Assist in managing and tracking contracts/purchases across IT department and ensure that the renewals are done on time, with sufficient lead time to switch vendors if necessary. This may also include preparation of approval papers/Waiver of competitions/RFQ/RFP.
• Assist in budget preparation/reforecast activities.
• Attend to any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Senior Manager (Enterprise Applications) and IT Director.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• No Exp welcome to apply as on the job training provided
• Proficient in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of working with tools such as SQL or Workflow would be advantageous.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Pro-active, meticulous, resourceful and strong team player.
• Able to work independently under tight schedules.
• Work well with all functional levels in the organization.
