Job summary

A leading civil engineering and construction company in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee M&E works. The ideal candidate will manage project objectives, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Experience in installing mechanical systems (ACMV, BMS, WMS, ESCS) is an advantage.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accomplishing the project objectives within the constraints such as project scope, time, cost and quality

  • Interpret technical designs and drawingsfor construction on-site

  • Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications

  • Coordinate M&E services and prepare CSD/SEM drawings for submission

  • Coordinate the integration of Civil, Architectural and M&E works on site with clients, consultations and subcontractors

  • Plan, develop and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of allocated tasks and schedules

  • Prepare reports to clients and project manager on progress, delays, defects and rectification measures for the M&E works

  • Provide technical advice and resolve M&E technical issues

  • Reporting the progress of M&E works and arranging site inspections with system-wide contractors, sub-contractors and clerk-of-works

  • Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace

  • Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possesses Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required

  • Experience in installing mechanical systems (ACMV,BMS,WMS,ESCS) is an advantage
