Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with Construction team, Design Consultant, PE, construction subcontractors, etc., for Detail Design Development.
2. Conduct detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works.
3. Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions.
4. Plan relevant temporary civil structures, including plans & sections for traffic diversion such as drain diversion, retaining walls, and shop drawing development.
5. Review and plan for ERSS systems for underground structures using diaphragm walls, including KP, decking, strutting, etc.
6. Check and rectify all structural and shop drawings as required.

Requirements and Relevant Experience:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
2. Strong fundamental engineering and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design are advantageous.
3. Good knowledge of design and drafting software applications.
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, especially for LTA projects.
5. Awareness of traffic diversion, temporary drain diversion, and authority approval procedures.
6. Understanding of underground structure/construction sequences and related civil design works.
7. Familiarity with Eurocode, LTA CDC, and relevant design standards and specifications.

* Candidates with experience as a Construction Supervisor (CS) engineer (Design) on D&B contractor side would have an advantage.
