Job description

MUST BE able to work in Pasir Ris Mall.
MUST BE able to commit to Retail working hours, 12 hrs shift, including weekends and PH, 4.5day work week, rostered schedule.


Purpose of Position:

As a Nurse at our clinic in Pasir Ris, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to pediatric and general practice patients. Your responsibilities will encompass both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless and patient-centric healthcare experience. You will be required to perform nursing procedures, assist doctors in various medical procedures, and contribute to the efficient functioning of the clinic.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Assist doctors in medical procedures, particularly those related to pediatrics and general practice.

  2. Administer vaccines and perform venipuncture for pediatric and general practice patients.

  3. Conduct procedures in the treatment room, including but not limited to Tonometry, Spirometry, Audiometry, Nebulizer, ECG, and dressing changes.

  4. Perform stress ECG tests as required.

  5. Assist in Code Blue or any other clinical procedures assigned.

  6. Practice within your assessed competence, adhering to SNB code of practice and core competencies to ensure patient and personal safety.

  7. Demonstrate proper use and care of medical and IT equipment.

  8. Handle patient registration and ensure completion of the visit.

  9. Utilize Clinic Management System and other portals effectively.

  10. Manage patients' records in compliance with the PDPA Act.

  11. Undertake administrative duties as directed by the Clinic Manager or Ops Manager.

  12. Maintain effective communication with patients and team members.

  13. Supervise and mentor less experienced staff, demonstrating people management skills.

  14. Respect the values, customs, spiritual beliefs, and practices of individuals and groups.

  15. Articulate FHG Purpose and Shared Values in daily work.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Ensure timely billing in Clinic Management System and insurance portals.

  2. Perform duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager and through training programs (e.g., CSSD, Audiometry, Phlebotomy, Swabbing, etc.).

  3. Manage clinic supplies inventory and equipment maintenance.

  4. Assist the Medical Records Office with Corporate summary reports or MOM reporting.

  5. Uphold infection control standards.

  6. Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and protocols.

  7. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

  8. Perform any additional duties assigned by Clinic Manager or Ops Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Recognized Nursing qualification and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.

  2. Minimum Certification: Diploma in Nursing.

  3. Experience: Min 1 year clinic experience

  4. Able to commit to Retail working hours, 4.5day work week, rostered shift.
