Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders to ensure a safe workplace environment for all employees and contractors.
  2. Attend and conduct safety-related meetings (e.g., WSH Committee Meetings) to address safety issues and follow up on closures.
  3. Identify and eliminate potential hazards or risks that could result in injury or property damage.
  4. Support and conduct external/internal safety audits and follow up on CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
  5. Lead or participate in Safety Improvement Programs.
  6. Ensure compliance with WSH Act, Fire Safety Act, ISO 45001, including statutory equipment and licenses.
  7. Maintain safety documentation such as risk assessments and training records.
  8. Monitor KPIs and ensure timely submission of reports.
  9. Provide safety advice and support to relevant stakeholders.
  10. Coordinate with authorities and stakeholders to ensure fire safety compliance.
  11. Represent the organization in liaising with external stakeholders and government agencies.
  12. Assist and support all safety-related matters.

Key Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing WSH, Fire Safety, and ISO requirements.
  • Experience in food processing or packaging environments.
  • Experience in incident investigation.
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (with MOM).
  • Registered Fire Safety Manager (with SCDF).
  • Organized with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Open-minded and objective in addressing issues and solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good oral and written presentation skills.
