An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage pre-contract and post-contract administration tasks. In this dynamic role, you will prepare tender documents, liaise with contractors, and ensure accurate payment evaluations. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in relevant fields and have at least two years of related experience in Singapore. Job Descriptions:
•Prepare quantity measurement, costing, preparation of tender documents, and estimation for both pre-contract administration.
•Liaise with the main contractor on payments and VO confirmations, follow up on monthly progress claims, prepare the final account for completed projects, and other post-contract administration.
•Prepare evaluation and certification of subcontractors’ progress payments.
•Prepare costing and submit quotations to clients for Variation Orders (VO) items.
•Liaise with the main contractor on payments and VO confirmations.
•Prepare the Final Account for completed projects and obtain management’s approval.
•Follow up with clients on final payments and release of retentions
•Liaise with main contractor on performance bonds.
•Prepare monthly report of payment collection forecast and estimation of payments to sub-contractors.
•Work with Project Managers on project administration matters, contractual obligation and cost impact for project, etc.
•Assist in the preparation of project submission documents such as built drawings, operational & maintenance manual, warranties, etc.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 year of Singapore related working experience is compulsory
• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Building Services / M&E Engineering
• Relevant local working experience would be preferred
• Good oral & written communication skills with a positive work attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision
