About the role

As the Business Intelligence Manager at COURTS (Singapore) Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making and insights for the company. In this full-time position based in the Tampines North East Region, you will be responsible for developing and managing the organisation's business intelligence strategies and solutions to support key business objectives.

Job Description:

1. Leadership & Strategy – Strategize, lead, and direct all activities related to IT Management, including Application Management, Project Management, Solution delivery, Management and Control, Vendors, Contractors, and Internal IT Workforce Management.
2. Partnership – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage vendors, initiate and evaluate projects, and prioritize process improvements to ensure quality and maximize ROI.
3. Project & Risk Management – Manage projects to ensure timely delivery that exceeds or meets stakeholder expectations, adhering strictly to project management and risk management principles.
4. Governance & Security – Implement and monitor information security policies across all IT functions, conduct periodic assessments, identify gaps, and ensure appropriate resolutions.
5. People & Resource Management – Foster a performance-driven culture, establish control mechanisms for resource allocation, set performance goals, and conduct staff appraisals as per corporate guidelines.
6. Change Management & Service Excellence – Ensure solutions are properly tested, meet specifications, and are deployed within timelines.

Requirements Summary:

This is a hands-on role requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the retail industry, with broad functional expertise and technical knowledge in BI tools and IT management, including:

• Business process design and conceptualization skills
• Knowledge of MS SQL/SSIS
• Experience with Crystal Reports, QlikView, Excel VBA, Python (advantageous)
• Experience with Navision (advantageous)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Hands-on experience in ETL processes
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across teams and geographies
• Good analytical skills for problem investigation across multiple systems
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment
• Willingness to work weekends and off-hours as needed for on-site support
