Job description

Designation: Assistant Manager/SCM and Production

Roles include Store, Purchase, Vendor Development, Quality, Procurement, Design, and Production Planning & Control.

Salary: 25L to 50L (dependent on experience and applicable salary).

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Supply Chain Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain from procurement to distribution.
    • Forecast supply and demand to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
    • Monitor and manage supply chain risks, including disruptions and delays.
  2. Procurement & Sourcing:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve the best value for the company.
    • Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  3. Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, storage, and replenishment processes.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimize inventory turnover rates and reduce excess stock.
    • Monitor inventory performance, including stockouts and deadstock.
  4. Logistics and Distribution:
    • Manage logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and internal teams.
    • Optimize transportation routes, shipping methods, and distribution centers to reduce costs and improve service.
  5. Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and training.
    • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless coordination.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze supply chain performance and generate regular reports for senior management.
    • Use advanced analytics to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
    • Develop KPIs to measure supply chain success.
  7. Compliance and Sustainability:
    • Ensure operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and environmental standards.
