Job description

The Red Hat Sales team is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in Singapore. This role requires initiative, passion, and experience to develop strategic sales plans through competitive analysis, customer segmentation, market development, and solution positioning within the financial services sector. You will manage assigned accounts, build and maintain relationships, and promote Red Hat's solutions. Strong communication skills are essential to engage with decision makers, understand customer issues, and demonstrate how Red Hat's solutions and subscriptions add value, especially in open source environments.

What you will do:
  1. Sell Red Hat's complete portfolio to FSI accounts
  2. Understand customer business and solution requirements
  3. Position Red Hat at all organizational levels, including C-level
  4. Plan and execute account strategies
  5. Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  6. Develop and maintain relationships within your accounts
  7. Collaborate with solutions architects, overlay teams, and inside sales
What you will bring:
  • 8+ years of quota-carrying experience in strategic accounts
  • Experience selling to Singapore's key FSI accounts; solution selling and IT architecture familiarity
  • Technical background
  • Leadership, partnership, and persuasive skills with consultative selling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in fast-paced, competitive sales environments
  • Passion for open source and ability to translate this into sales activities
  • Executive presence and ability to engage with C-level executives
