Job Description:

Assist the Pastry Chef in planning and producing high-quality dishes with artistic food design to create a perfect harmony between the dish’s visual appeal and its taste, aligning with Luxe Catering’s luxury image and standards.

Collaborate, communicate, and plan with the Pastry Chef on seasonal menus.

Assist in planning, coordinating, and directing food service catering operations, including research, development processes, and costing.

Prepare pastries and desserts daily for catering events.

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the successful execution of catering events.

Provide necessary information to food service teams regarding menu updates and catering issues.

Oversee service standards for catering, special events, and specialty pastry programs.

Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations according to SFA standards.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of relevant experience in pastry or dessert roles.
  2. Experience with French cuisine is advantageous.
  3. Ability to generate and present innovative ideas in pastry production.
  4. Highly creative with a keen eye for detail.
