What the role is:
The role is for a Contracts Manager to procure and manage construction and construction-related projects.
What you will be working on:
You will procure services of consultants and contractors for HDB's new development, upgrading, infrastructure, and related projects. You will manage contracts, process payment claims, administer submission of certificates/warranties/agreements, monitor project expenditure, and prepare cash flow projections for budget control. Additionally, you will oversee private Quantity Surveying (QS) consultants during design, tender, construction, and post-construction stages, including setting and managing project budgets, calling tenders, evaluating and awarding tenders, obtaining approval for variations, and checking valuations and final accounts. You will also provide procurement, contractual advice, and cost estimates for feasibility studies.
What we are looking for:
You should have a background in Building, Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, and you should be able to work effectively in a team. Preferably, you have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract. All applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of the application deadline regarding their shortlisting status.
