Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Investments, Advice and Solutions for Southeast Asia. This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in investment management and solutions development, capable of driving growth and innovation across the Southeast Asia region.

Job Summary

As the Head of Investments, Advice and Solutions for Southeast Asia, you will work closely with the senior leadership team in the APAC and SEA regions to develop market growth strategies and implement solutions and investment strategies. You will also lead and monitor the team's performance against financial and other business targets whilst also managing your own client book.

Job Responsibilities

1. Head of Investments & Advice, Southeast Asia:

• Oversee investment management activities in Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with the firm's global investment strategy.
• Partner with Market Managers to develop marketing strategies related to investment for onshore and offshore markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and support the largest and/or most complex accounts.
• Conduct independent discussions with client representatives on selected issues as part of operational dialogue.
• Manage investment risk broadly.
• Personally manage a portfolio of UHNW clients while leading a team of investment professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to foster a high-performance culture.

Head of Solutions, Southeast Asia:

• Collaborate with the Head of Solutions APAC to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance solutions offerings in Southeast Asia.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative financial solutions tailored to client needs.
• Drive business development by identifying new market opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• University Degree with at least 20 years of experience in solutions and investment management at a reputable private bank.
• Excellent understanding of investment products, with experience dealing with clients in Southeast Asia and Australia markets.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to work independently on multiple issues and tasks, adjusting priorities to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with proven ability to work cooperatively within multi-disciplinary teams and across departments.
• Experienced negotiator with senior management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• Relevant local regulatory licenses in Singapore.
