Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is looking for aResearch Fellow to support the research on the advanced control of power electronics for solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage systems (BESSs), and electrolyzers. These research areas are aligned with the university targets on more sustainable societies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of novel control techniques for renewable energy systems in laboratory prototypes.
Study / Simulate / Develop technically sound solutions for less reliance on BESS in renewable solar PV energy systems, including both grid-connected and standalone applications, without compromising the system reliability.
Maintaining lab facilities and taking care of purchasing and other administrative tasks.
Supporting PhD/Master/FYP students in their lab developments.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university that excels in the area of power electronics.
Relevant research and overseas experience in power electronic systems (analysis, simulation and experimental verification).
Must be the first author of several papers published in top journals in the area of power electronics and industrial electronics, especially IEEE Transactions.
Good team player, enthusiastic and good English skills for research purposes
Able to perform multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
