- Lead and manage a team of underwriters handling customer service-related and post-claims underwriting assessments
- Monitor service levels and ensure timely case resolution in line with internal SLAs
- Review complex or escalated appeal cases and provide expert-level recommendations
- Maintain and enhance underwriting frameworks, SOPs, and process documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Claims, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholders for seamless case handovers
- Prepare and present monthly underwriting performance reports and data trends
- Ensure responsiveness to internal systems, case bookings, and email queries
- Support the wider underwriting function on projects and initiatives as required

- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high expectations
