Job Description

• Oversee and manage Post Fixtures aspects of ship chartering activities to ensure optimum and efficient employment of managed and operated ships.
• Minimize ships’ idle time through well thought processes and planning. Monitor their positioning, movement and cargo loading or discharging processes.
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships with ship principals/clients/owners/brokers/agents, etc.
• Ensure all vessel’s operations are effectively carried out and sufficiently resourced through detailed planning in advance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of the vessel’s daily operations and initiate any enhancements for maximum customer satisfaction.
• Participate and provide insights for marketing and chartering strategies to provide an integrated service that meets clients’ requirements and support organizational growth.
• Ensure proper reporting on assigned ships, periodic voyage performance reviews, port charges and expenditures are presented to senior management, timely and regularly.
• Ensure conformity of processes and documentation with Company and industry standards.
• Review and enhance processes to achieve business objectives and operational effectiveness continually.
• Ensure compliance with the control system/procedures and undertake risk management measures for monitoring risk factors.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Senior Management.

• Tertiary Qualification in Marine related discipline.
• Meticulous about numbers, able to perform simple analysis and ability to anticipate potential issues and good problem-solving skills.
• Committed and able to work at odd hours as required.
