- Provide support to the Manager and General Manager of the Building Construction Department.
- Review near-miss incidents and accident reports (related to both safety and quality).
- Monitor data from Visual Project Tracking systems (e.g., HoloBuilder and OpenSpace), identify safety and quality issues, provide comments, and resolve them.
- Review QA/QC data on the portal and notify of any discrepancies or inadequacies in the data or check sheets.
- Assist the Manager and General Manager of the Building Construction Department in attending various meetings to review, advise, or propose alternative ideas regarding design and construction plans in other countries, focusing on design quality, construction methods, scheduling, quality assurance systems, and safety considerations.
- Support the Manager and General Manager of the Building Construction Department in assisting projects, including tender projects, by providing input on design, construction planning, and on-site activities through direct communication.
- Assist the Manager and General Manager in delivering educational support by conducting or organizing online seminars, working group meetings, and related training sessions.
- Undertake business trips to other countries, when necessary, to support tender and ongoing projects.
- Contribute to the development and review of corporate policies and procedures by gaining an understanding of HSE policies and practices and proposing innovations where appropriate.
- Maintain regular communication and coordination with project teams to ensure all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities are effectively implemented.
- Participate in industry forums, training programs, and workshops to stay informed on legislative changes, code updates, and evolving contractual practices.
- Coordinate and implement safety training initiatives at project sites, including scheduling, organizing travel logistics, and conducting training sessions on-site as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Prefarable with minimum 10 years’ experience in building construction.
- Excellent knowledge of risk analysis and risk management.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
