A leading construction company seeks a civil engineer to manage external works, particularly steel structures. The role involves collaboration with architects and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and overseeing project progress. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee the external works including steel link bridge.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop and implement project specifications.
Ensure all steel members are manufactured and installed according to design specifications.
Conduct structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of the steel elements.
Manage and supervise the installation of structural steel components.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for the procurement of materials.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building engineering, with a focus external works and steel structure.
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structure and structural steel manufacturing and installation processes.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate complex projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
