Science Teacher (Secondary Teaching)

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Science Teacher (Secondary) to join our team at Acer Academy Pte Ltd in the Central Region. This full-time role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education of our students and contribute to the continued growth and success of our school.

What you'll be doing

1. Plan and prepare teaching materials, deliver lessons using diverse methods, and manage the classroom.
2. Track student progress, assess performance, and provide regular termly reports and updates to parents.
3. Develop lesson plans and content to ensure effective learning.
4. Maintain regular communication with parents on student progress and performance.
5. Participate in marketing activities and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

1. Commitment to long-term teaching with a strong understanding of the Singapore MOE curriculum.
2. Skilled in teaching and engaging children both online and offline.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
4. Detail-oriented, well-organized, resourceful, and a fast learner.
5. Positive, energetic, and dynamic personality with a task-oriented approach.
6. Ability to work independently and in teams, adaptable to change, and open to constructive feedback.
