Job Description
Purpose
The Business Analyst, Digital (BA) role is about bringing and delivering innovative, future-ready digital solutions that enhance how our customers purchase and self-serve online. In this role, you will identify and analyze business pain points, gaps, core problems, industry trends, and business needs, translating these into tangible business requirements. The BA should be able to clearly articulate, document, and communicate these requirements to stakeholders and drive the implementation of new solutions, platforms, models, and methods for Chubb’s partners and customers. You will work closely with product, platform, delivery, and technology teams to conceptualize, deliver, and implement digital solutions and facilitate their adoption.
Responsibilities
- Manage the scope and requirements of digital projects and the rollout of digital platforms for industry partners in APAC.
- Collaborate with partner business analyst teams to manage requirements and prioritize product or feature launches.
- Lead requirement workshops to finalize specifications.
- Define customer journeys with design teams across standalone and embedded propositions.
- Work with business and product owners to analyze pain points, needs, and opportunities; develop clear specifications to meet these requirements.
- Understand product and platform visions, roadmaps, and value propositions; document requirements aligned with these strategies.
- Engage stakeholders to gather, capture, and document business requirements in formats such as BRD, FSD, epics, and user stories.
- Prioritize user requirements and stories based on business priorities, backlog, and criticality.
- Ensure requirements are clearly articulated, translated, and documented for efficient delivery by technical teams, coordinating across time zones.
- Maintain due diligence throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with architecture, technical solutions, dependencies, and risk management.
- Support project delivery and management across multiple projects throughout their lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification (Essential).
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst (Essential).
- Experience in digital delivery within an Agile environment (Essential).
- Experience with e-commerce, customer lifecycle, digital sales, customer service, or insurance products (Desirable).
- Formal Business Analysis and Agile certifications (Desirable).
- Experience managing product and platform lifecycle (Desirable).
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, challenging environment with tight deadlines.
- Understanding of product and platform lifecycle management for web and mobile technologies, focusing on customer experience and user journeys.
