Regional Counsel - Financial Services

We are currently looking for a dedicated Legal Counsel who is solution oriented and motivated to grow to join our Regional Financial Services client of ours.

You will play a key role in providing legal guidance and support for a wide range of corporate, regulatory and compliance matters. You will work closely with our business teams to develop innovative solutions to complex legal challenges and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. We're looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also highly loyal, dedicated, and committed to the long-term success of our client's company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, negotiations, and transactions.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including supplier, vendor, and customer agreements.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical legal solutions to business challenges.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
5. Monitor legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
6. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
7. Support senior legal leadership in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

1. Over 5 PQE Singapore qualified lawyer in an in-house or law firm environment. Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to working with colleagues and clients.
2. Proven ability to identify practical, creative solutions to complex legal issues.
3. A strong sense of dedication to both the company and its mission, showing long-term loyalty and a deep commitment to the success of the business.
4. The ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-legal stakeholders.
