PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Operations Manager will oversee the operations of the manufacturing plant, planning, warehouse, materials, equipment, tools, health and safety to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule. Manage the entire production process to ensure the production of high-quality products, assessing project and resource requirements, reviewing and agreeing budgets and timescales with HODs. Inspire employees and create a positive working environment. Ensure health and safety regulations are met in the plant and instill discipline and compliance at all times.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the full spectrum of production functions, both strategically and operationally.
- Review and implement optimal production operation processes to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Responsible for production planning, warehouse management, and health and safety compliance.
- Establish production schedules and ensure that quantities and timings are met.
- Optimize labor and machinery utilization to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
- Coordinate and address quality-related issues with production, planning, and warehouse teams.
- Oversee warehouse operations and maintain inventory accuracy both systemically and physically.
- Ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Evaluate employee performance and ensure productivity standards are met.
- Provide coaching, training, and discipline to employees to enhance competence.
- Ensure proper use of routers and timely updates to the VM system.
- Promote efficient use of company systems/software in planning and warehouse functions.
- Review manpower requirements and analyze production reports such as labor/utilization and gross profit reports.
- Review departmental budgets and control costs.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Complete the minimum training specified in Employee Qualification and OJT Form No. S 1-026F.
- Proven leadership and management skills to strategize, prioritize, lead, inspire, and motivate teams.
- Solid understanding of the processing environment in the Oil and Gas industries.

QUALIFICATION GUIDE
- Education: Minimum Degree in Engineering or related Industrial or Material Science fields.
- Communication: Fluent in oral and written English and/or Chinese.
- Experience: Proven 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing environment.
- Software/Hardware: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel: pivot, VLOOKUP), ERP systems, and ability to read technical drawings.
