Job description

1 yr renewable contract

Salary: Up to 6K SGD / month (depending upon experience and skills)

Insurance / banking domain experience is mandatory

Key responsibilities include:

1. Review product specifications, functional specifications, and work-related materials; analyze system gaps and business processes; and recommend improvements.
2. Bridge the gap between IT and Business Users to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver recommendations to stakeholders.
3. Ensure risk and compliance standards are followed for all changes.
4. Organize and participate in meetings or workshops with users to understand business requirements and support the development of business workflow and requirements documentation.
5. Work with users to prepare and document business requirements, conduct walkthroughs, reviews, and obtain sign-offs on user requirements.
6. Assess the feasibility, benefits, and risks of new IT solutions; recommend process improvements; ensure IT solutions align with business needs and compliance standards.
7. Define test scope, formulate test plans, participate in user acceptance testing, and document test results.
8. Prepare user guides and conduct training for operational users on new deployments.

Qualifications & Competencies:

1. Degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems.
2. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in business analysis and user acceptance testing within the insurance domain.
3. Experience in insurance operations and processing is advantageous.
4. Strong business analysis skills in delivering business requirements processes.
5. Project management skills in executing and managing UAT and planning.
6. Proficiency with the latest technology applications.
7. Proactive, resourceful, and effective facilitator with stakeholder engagement skills across various business domains.
8. Self-managing with strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
9. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including listening and dispute resolution.
10. Strong multi-tasking abilities, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
