Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and commission Siemens PLC applications (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500)
• Simatic Manager (Step 7 Classic).
• TIA Portal (v16–v20 preferred).
• Design and configure CITECT Plant SCADA systems (v2016 or newer), including graphics, alarms, and diagnostics.
• Execute testing, FAT, SAT, and onsite commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (FDS, SDS, MSRA, as built).
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during development and commissioning.
• Implement code changes under documented change control.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial automation projects.

Proven experience with:

• Siemens S7-300/400 PLCs (Simatic Manager/Step 7 Classic).
• Siemens S7-1500 PLCs (TIA Portal).
• CITECT SCADA v2016 (or equivalent versions).
• Profibus and Profinet network setup and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of control system design, commissioning processes, and troubleshooting.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with S7-GRAPH sequential programming.
• Familiarity with EPLAN Electrical and/or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Prior work in GMP environments (e.g., pharma/chemical sectors).
• Experience with other SCADA platforms (Wonderware InTouch, WinCC, Rockwell FTView).
• Flexibility to travel regionally for project assignments.
