Qualifications

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for independent, passionate, and result-oriented individuals to join our Team. He/She has a sound understanding of the commodity market and able to identify opportunities which could enhance trade positions.

Outline:

• Junior/Assistant position
• Job rotation on US Trading hours
• Training and coaching will be provided for less experienced

Responsibilities:

• Handle commodity derivatives such as Future/Options/OTCs to hedge risks.
• Ensure proper execution of trades (Physical and Paper)
• Provide P/L and risk reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Research and gather economic and trade data which affects the prices of commodities.
• Develop and maintain quantitative analysis, derivative pricing, and risk management tools.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders e.g. Operations, Finance and Treasury etc.
• Participate in regular discussions regarding business strategy for key areas of the business portfolio
• Assist Senior Traders and participate in weekly Trader meetings
• Any other adhoc duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Excellent command in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking counter parties, other language is highly appreciated.
• Experience in derivatives products and agriculture products preferred
• A good team player with initiative, drive, and interpersonal skills.
