Job description

Job Description:

• The main roles for this position include planning, design, and construction management of the high voltage power distribution system and electrical building services for airport development projects.

• As part of our in-house design team, one of your key focuses is to assist in the design of the airport's Airfield Lighting System (AFL) and Airfield Ground Lighting and Control and Monitoring System (AGLCMS) for our clients as part of our consultancy services. You will assist and guide our production team in developing and preparing the necessary design drawings and documentation required for calling tenders for Capex/Opex projects related to AFL/ALCMS. Prior knowledge of these systems is not mandatory, as training will be provided. However, prior knowledge of airport AFL/ALCMS would be an advantage.

• The successful candidate will work closely with the in-house design team and other consultants to ensure compliance with codes and regulations, as well as the quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the systems. The candidate shall coordinate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to ensure that construction implementation aligns with user needs and requirements, within budget and schedule, and meets the highest quality standards.

• As part of our consultancy services, you will provide advice on the procurement of spare parts and maintenance services for AFL. You will also support our airfield design and master planning team in studying system capacity and implementing future airfield projects.

Requirements:

• Good degree in Electrical Engineering.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in planning, designing, implementing, and managing projects involving high voltage electrical power distribution systems and building services for large-scale infrastructure or commercial developments.

• Experience in planning, designing, and implementing high voltage electrical substations and distribution systems.

• Experience with power monitoring and control systems for electrical systems is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of design codes and standards for M&E systems.

• Self-motivated, driven, assertive, and analytical.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to understand and develop technical drawings, specifications, and requirements.

• Ability to work independently to deliver results and possess good project management skills.

• Good team player and capable of handling fast-paced projects.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
