Accounts Executive

Job Description:
  • Prepare and execute accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining full sets of accounts.
  • Arrange payment schedules, update, and follow up on payments; submit daily and weekly reports to management; work closely with management to prevent operational interruptions.
  • Responsible for auditing financial transactions and controlling accounting document procedures.
  • Prepare daily sales reports for the Director and Management.
  • Prepare and report the annual Fixed Asset Depreciation Report to the Director & Management.
  • Liaise with government authorities regarding accounting and financial matters such as audits and GST.
  • Coordinate with external parties like banks and government authorities on accounting and costing matters.
  • Prepare daily credit card reconciliation reports, bank balance reports, and update daily bank transactions; ensure proper disbursement and crediting of funds.
  • Manage petty cash and process reimbursements.
  • Prepare bank deposits for counter cash collections.
  • Handle quarterly GST submissions.
  • Prepare yearly commission statements.
  • Conduct monthly inventory stock takes, and manage asset and inventory write-offs/disposals.
  • Assist with e-commerce payments.
  • Organize and file relevant documents.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director & Management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field or LCCI Accounting certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
