Job description

  • Position : Business Planning Manager/Analyst (Budget/Forecasting)
  • Location : Bedok
  • Working hours : 5 days work week, Monday - Friday : 9am to 5pm (flexi staggered hours)
  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $10,000 + AWS + $1500 Flexible benefits + Group insurance + 15 days annual leave
    Duration : Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analysing business, operations financial data, preparing analyses, reports, and providing insights into business and operational performance.
  • Developing and maintaining financial business models to forecast Business, Sales and Service performance and support strategic planning and goals of the company.
  • Assisting with the preparation of business plans and budgets; and developing financial forecasts.
  • Analysing cost and expense variances; inefficiencies and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conducting research on market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities.
  • Providing business, operations and financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to gather information and support business initiatives.
  • Oversee and facilitate annual review of sales/margin targets, commission opportunities and commission rates, and drafting of individual variable compensation plans.
  • Review monthly commissions calculations performed by Sales Compensation Analyst and ensuring completeness and accuracy, and timely submission to HR for processing within payroll deadlines.
  • Support and participate in initiatives and projects rolled out by the team, and other activities, projects or analyses as needed or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related field; CPA or CA preferred.
  • 5-12 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis and reporting, Financial Modelling, Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial tools and software (MS Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.), Power BI, Oracle BI, JD Edwards, CRM/PRM systems).
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting and accounting principles knowledge (GAAP).
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficient in using financial software and developing sophisticated financial models and creating effective dashboards and visualizations.
  • Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to identify and analyse financial problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Project management experience.
  • Willing to travel overseas when required
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients who converse in Mandarin only
