Job Title: Senior / Laboratory Assistant
Location: Jurong Island (Transport Provided at Jurong East)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary Package: Site Allowance $200 + AWS + Variable Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant / Senior Laboratory Assistant to join our team at our Jurong Island facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products through precise laboratory testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control analysis on raw materials, processes, and finished goods

• Perform manual wet chemistry and laboratory testing

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments

• Manage chemical inventories, prepare reagents, and handle waste disposal

• Keep detailed records and assist in the development of quality procedures

• Support QA and Safety initiatives, including risk assessments

• Coordinate procurement of lab materials and budget tracking

• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• For Assistant Level: Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of laboratory experience

• For Senior Level: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant laboratory experience in a similar industry

• Experience in manual wet chemistry and lab testing is essential

• Able to work overtime on weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and occasionally midnight shifts

• Strong understanding of QA, safety practices, and equipment calibration

• Good communication and teamwork skills
