The IT Business Partner plays a critical role in enhancing the use of technology across various business functions and will help optimize IT investments in line with our business priorities. This role is responsible for understanding the business needs and objectives, translating them into technology requirements, and collaborating with IT teams to deliver appropriate solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Passionate to deep dive with the stakeholders and users to understand and evaluate current business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions – leverage on existing and/or develop effective technology solutions to optimize efficiency, drive business value and remove bottlenecks / pain points.

Proactively recommend and implement innovative solutions to continuously enhance system usability, performance, and efficiency. Willing to challenge the status quo, passionate about streamlining processes to improve productivity, drive digital transformation projects and engage stakeholders to align the IT roadmap with strategic objectives, beyond just cost-benefit analysis.

Own and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Measure outcomes and ROI. Collaborate effectively with internal and external IT partners to ensure timely completion of projects. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.

Act as a change agent to help business teams understand and adopt new technology solutions. Change management to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with organizational objectives; active involvement throughout implementation of new processes or technologies – solution design, development and testing phases, and continuous training to ensure users are comfortable with the new normal.

Actively drive continuous enhancements to various IT systems, facilitate changes to meet evolving business requirements and implement best practices.

Maintain accuracy, usability and interactivity of business reports, including designing dashboards and data visualisation tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Attend to system issues proactively, provide timely support and solution to users to ensure business continuity.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, including new application features and best practices to leverage the full potential of the systems.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business.

Experience: minimum 5 years' experience with data analytic solutions or business analysis, with at least 2 years’ experience in project implementation and process improvement, collaborating with various departments to integrate and optimize business processes.

Strong understanding of business processes, operations and best practices. Ability to think ahead and anticipate business needs while leveraging technology. Experience with process mapping and workflow automation tools, including RPA or BPM solutions, in addition to ERP systems. Proven track record of working with business units to deliver technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, preferably in a high-volume distribution or logistics business.

Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server for database management and SQL querying. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Proficient with Power BI.

Solution-focused and user-focused, with analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to business application functionality, configuration, and integration with other systems.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with and support end-users, stakeholders, and technical teams. Ability to work cross-functionally with teams to ensure cohesive and effective business and IT solutions.
