Job Description

Reporting to the Principal and Director of Planning, your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following job scopes: -

  • To apply and conform to standard practices for City and Regional Planning guidelines where necessary.
  • To apply best in urban planning and design techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications on projects
  • Independently supports the team in delivering projects primarily involving master planning or urban design input in coordination with the team leaders
  • Create innovative design solutions or task management in support of projects in urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images
  • Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form; modify and/ or review drawings, construction documentation and detailing
  • Confer with design teams in reviews regarding design schemes, proposals and approvals
  • Assist to coordinate and consult with federal, state and local regulatory agencies on scope and impact of project when necessary
  • Assist to prepare, correct and update work documents
  • Assist to manage scopes, schedules and budgets if necessary
  • At least 15-20% travel time is anticipated
  • Provide assistance in reporting project activities to senior management
  • Assist the team to handle day-to-day communications with Clients and manage Client expectations
  • Assist in preparing project showcases and proposals as part of marketing and promotion efforts to attract clientele and seek approvals from authorities

Job Requirement

  • Degree in related field with preference in Architecture or Urban Planning / Design
  • At least 1- 3 years working experience in related field
  • Candidate with a flair for urban articulation will be preferred
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered
