Job Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment to manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in OSP and Dispensary, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Perform tasks such as receiving, staging, moving, dispensing, sampling, and inspecting raw or intermediate materials, as well as operating and monitoring organic synthesis processing equipment per SOP.
- Conduct in-process sampling, routine de-ionized water (DIW) sampling, and pack-out of intermediate and finished goods as per SOP.
- Set up pre-campaign activities, perform post-campaign activities, and carry out change-over cleaning.
- Start-up, operate routinely, and shut down auxiliary equipment like DIW plants, scrubber systems, and emergency vent systems.
- Operate control panels, monitor process trends, and manage alarms using the DCS Delta V control system.
- Ensure effective communication and handover of shift duties.
- Update Manufacturing Standard Work and Operation Standard Work documents.
- Complete all documentation, including Record of Manual Operations (RMO), Cleaning Instructions (CI), and Manufacturing Instructions (MI), in compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
- Monitor plant status and coordinate with other departments to prevent manufacturing interruptions.
- Troubleshoot deviations and operational issues, collaborating with relevant functions as needed.
- Prepare and clear equipment for maintenance activities.
- Facilitate monthly safety meetings and promote safety awareness.
- Take immediate action on near-miss situations and report all incidents and potential hazards for investigation.
- Assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and potential accidents.
- Provide troubleshooting information and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Perform system transactions using systems like GLIMS, SAP, MTS, and EMAS.
- Complete required training, including SOP, SOJT, and JSA, and communicate deviations and issues effectively.
- Participate in emergency response team activities.
- Assist with project commissioning and validation activities as required.
