Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for an Area Manager South-East Asia, Travel Retail Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

THE ROLE:

Responsible for building and executing all strategies for the Southeast Asia region

  • Guarantor of adherence to Clarins brand values and image at all levels; a key player supported by the field team to execute all set strategies for the region
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with retail partners to achieve long-term performance success, in collaboration with TRCD
  • Implement disruptive and creative trade animations, both digitally and in physical stores, to drive brand awareness and build a strong customer base
  • Communicate market needs effectively within Southeast Asia to facilitate accurate forecasting and ensure steady stock supply to support growth ambitions

Management of P&L for the region:

  • Work closely with TRCD to develop yearly top-line budgets and necessary expenses to fuel ambitions
  • Maintain transparent budget tracking and ensure efficient spending
  • Proactively communicate risks and opportunities to TRCD

Build an agile organization:

  • Lead a team covering commercial, marketing, VM, regulatory affairs, driving strategic execution
  • Mentor team members, promoting their development and curiosity
  • Motivate and develop retail branded field teams

Construct training strategies:

  • Collaborate with the regional training team to deliver appropriate training content regularly

Additional responsibilities may be assigned, consistent with the role of Area Manager South-East Asia, Travel Retail Asia Pacific.

YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Travel Retail, preferably in Asia Pacific
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Independent, with a strong understanding of regional and multicultural dynamics
  • Ability to multitask with strong analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset addressing sales, marketing, finance, merchandising, training, and customer relations
  • Team-oriented with leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
