An established industry player is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee construction projects in the Jurong West Area. This role involves collaborating with subcontractors and consultants, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 6 years of relevant experience with a main contractor. Join a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and project excellence, where your leadership will drive success and innovation.
We are the main Contractor and liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants, and authorities; set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
Verify the overall list of errors, construction details, design issues, defects, and variations based on construction plans and drawings before construction and/or processing payments to subcontractors.
Manage personnel and organizational functions such as on-the-job coaching and tracking employees' productivity.
Handle project assignments by management, including planning, forecasting, tracking subcontractor work progress, providing weekly schedules, and conducting daily coordination meetings to ensure project timelines are met. Also, organize logistics for daily operational needs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Possess a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with at least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor (A1).
Experience in managing deliverables and milestones: on time, within budget, and meeting business needs.
Good people management skills to coordinate among various disciplines and teams on the project.
Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
