The National University of Singapore invites applications for 1 Assistant Professor position in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Appointments will be made on a 2-year contract basis.

Job Summary

We seek candidates in the early stages of their academic careers, with the potential and drive to pursue an independent and vibrant research program with a collaborative interdisciplinary approach in radiology and imaging sciences. The candidate will be expected to secure extramural funding and teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Main duties and responsibilities

  1. Establish an independent, externally funded research program related to radiology and imaging sciences.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians, scientists, and other stakeholders to conduct impactful research.
  3. Mentor and supervise undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers.
  4. Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses related to radiology.
  5. Publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research in leading journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
  6. Actively participate in department events, workshops, and outreach activities.
