Job description

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Prepare tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities.
  2. Prepare tender quotations, including take-offs, materials/subcontractors outsourcing, and costing.
  3. Analyze project costs, including equipment, materials, and labor, using past purchasing records.
  4. Attend site visits to visualize potential site challenges and manage risks.
  5. Evaluate price comparisons and cost summaries for management review.
  6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns.
  7. Coordinate with various personnel for project cost estimates; source and order materials.
  8. Conduct cost analysis to ensure overall value enhancement and control project scope to meet objectives.
  9. Study tender specifications and drawings to identify potential risks.
  10. Administer project budgets, cost control, and manage sub-contracts and main contracts, including Variation Orders and final account settlements.
  11. Handle project procurement, purchasing, price negotiations, and analysis.
  12. Prepare sub-contract agreements and manage payments.
  13. Submit monthly progress payment claims.
  14. Identify potential claims based on contract deviations.
  15. Handle issues such as extension of time, terms and conditions, and loss and expense claims.
  16. Review and negotiate with sub-contractors as necessary.
  17. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
