Job description

Role

This is a full-time, onsite,Receptionist cum Admin Assistant Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected, You will work closely with VP and the AMs /AE and School Leaders(SLs) in an MOE Girls School (nearest MRT- Dakota & Eunos ) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

Receptionist duties (80% of the time)

Perform customer service duties at the counter in the General Office, attend to external and internal customers, answer phone calls, handling walk-ins to the General Office and attend to deliveries;

Assist students who are unwell in the sick bay.

Administrative duties (20% of the time)

Perform administrative duties such as verification of documents, maintaining and updating of data records, collation of outgoing mails/deliveries, handling of loss and found logbook and maintaining of office stationery stocks;

Sickbay management

Perform filing, organising and archival of files;

Other duties as assigned by the School.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably minimum four GCE ‘O’ Level passes or equivalent
  • Strong communication and writing skills;
  • Good organisation and record keeping skills;
  • Physically fit as job entails movements within school compound;
  • Proficient in essential computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email management
  • Independent and proactive in completing assigned tasks;
  • Certification in First Aid is an advantage.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.

Summary

Contract Period: From 1 Jul 2025 to 31 Dec 2026

Working Hours:(Total of 42.0 hours per week )

During School Term

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 6:30am to 3:30pm (9.0 hours) inclusive of 30 min lunch break
  • Fridays: 6:30am to 3:00pm (8.5 hours) inclusive of 30 min lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

During School Holidays

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm (9.0 hours) inclusive of 30 min lunch break
  • Fridays 7:00am to 3:30pm (8.5 hours) inclusive of 30 min lunch break.

(note*The work hours during the contract period are subject to changes by the Authority, so as to meet school operational needs.)

  • Service is not required on Saturday, Sundays and gazette public holidays.
