About The Role
As our Supply Chain Associate Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, from raw material sourcing to final delivery. You will be responsible for key activities across purchasing, demand planning, and operations systems support, requiring a strong understanding of the interconnectedness of these functions.
This role demands a hands-on approach, critical thinking, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and support our continued growth in the retail and online markets.

Responsibilities
Demand Planning
- Contribute to the development and execution of the demand planning process, incorporating historical data, market trends, and promotional activities
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather insights and refine demand forecasts
- Identify areas for improvement within the demand planning process
- Work closely with production and customer fulfillment teams to ensure alignment between demand and supply.
Purchasing
- Manage and execute purchasing activities, including purchase order management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and reliable supply
- Monitor supplier performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Track and analyze material costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement sourcing strategies.
Ops Systems Support
- Act as a support for tasks relating to supply chain systems and tools
- Identify opportunities to leverage systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation and training materials for supply chain systems.
General
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Prepare and present reports on key supply chain metrics
- Effectively communicate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, operations) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, logistics providers)
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
Requirements
Role requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrable equivalent skills in supply chain roles.
- Proven experience in at least two of the following areas: purchasing, demand planning, and operations systems support
- Strongly preferred experience within the retail and online business sectors
- Hands-on and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Keen interest and aptitude for learning new knowledge and skills, particularly related to supply chain systems and technologies
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP systems or other supply chain management software is highly desirable.
