Job Scope:
- Oversee and manage all facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate the work of external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Monitor and analyze facility performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Manage the facility budget, including procurement of materials and equipment.
- Supervise and train facility staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including management, to provide regular updates and recommendations on facility operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar facilities operations role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of facility management principles, including maintenance, energy efficiency, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and optimizing facility operations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
