Role based in Singapore for an experienced Technical Project Manager in our growing Cyber Day-1 Delivery Team.
Make an Impact by:
- Leading Cyber projects as the Customer's primary Point-of-Contact.
- Planning and executing Cyber project deliverables according to the project plan and schedule.
- Managing project issues and risks.
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cyber security to guide project delivery.
- Typical tasks include:
- Taking over newly awarded projects from Sales or Solution Engineering teams, or ongoing projects from previous Project Managers.
- Validating SOW, BOM, and project budget allocations.
- Coordinating with Sales on procurement and delivery schedules.
- Preparing and hosting Customer Kick-off Meetings, and documenting minutes and follow-up actions.
- Developing the Project Management Plan (including org chart, schedule, resource plan, communication plan, risk register, issue log) for customer approval.
- Acting as the primary Point-of-Contact for the customer on project matters.
- Managing internal and external project resources to meet milestones.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Managing project budgets and resource time-logging, seeking approvals for overrun.
- Hosting regular project progress meetings and providing status updates.
- Managing project documentation, risks, and issues.
- Overseeing the handover of Cyber technologies to the customer's Day-2 Operations.
- Obtaining customer sign-off and project commissioning.
- Communicating project completion to relevant teams.
- Documenting lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Releasing project resources and authorizing vendor payments upon project completion.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years of experience, including at least 3 years managing IT projects as a Project Manager or similar role.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for cyber security.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification, with knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Basic understanding of cyber security products and ability to facilitate technical discussions.
- Preferred but not required: experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ITIL certification, or cyber security product certifications.
