Job description

As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead, guide, mentor, and grow the sales team to support and meet company and business unit sales targets. You should be proactive in liaising, developing relationships, and influencing customers to maintain strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high client satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing regular reports on potential sales leads, sales quotations, and sales forecasts to the management team.

Experience in ESD is a plus. You will also need to guide the ESD team, familiarize yourself with clients and project teams by attending meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, Guide, Mentor & Grow Sales Team
  2. Support and meet sales targets; collaborate with HR for training; participate in appraisals and interviews.
  1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with clients; build long-term relationships; ensure high client satisfaction.
  1. Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management
  2. Develop and execute sales plans; maintain a sales pipeline; monitor market trends and competitors.
  1. Solution Development and Proposal Generation
  2. Collaborate with project and engineering teams to develop solutions; prepare proposals and quotations; organize tender submissions.
  1. Project Coordination and Implementation Support
  2. Work with internal teams for project handover; support clients throughout project lifecycle.
  1. Reporting and Performance Analysis
  2. Maintain records; generate reports on sales and performance metrics.
Guide & Mentor ESD Team
  • Familiarity with Green Mark Rating Versions & Requirements.
  • Attend client and project meetings with the ESD team.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, with success in B2B sales related to sustainability, energy-saving solutions, or HVAC systems.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, energy management, and building codes/regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys meeting people; proactive with a positive attitude.
