QC Lab Technician / Up to $2,500 + Allowance + Variable Bonus

Benefits:

• Basic Salary up to $2,500 with yearly increment based on performance.
• $50 monthly allowance
• $15 per night shift allowance
• Working Days: 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday), with working hours from 7.45am to 7.45pm or 7.45pm to 7.45am. Working timings will change every two weeks.

Job Description:

This is a full-time role for a QC Lab Technician located in Tuas Ave. Our client is a high-tech manufacturer of contact lens solutions and sterile pharmaceutical solutions.

• The incumbent works closely with the QC Manager on all aspects of Quality Control, focusing on product reliability and compliance with established standards. Ensures quality standards are upheld throughout the organization.
• This position reports directly to the QC Manager.
• The incumbent is responsible for developing checks to maintain or exceed quality standards across all aspects of quality within the organization.
• Inspects all incoming raw materials for compliance according to current standards.
• Conducts periodic checks and analysis on all Work-In-Progress (WIPs).
• Retains finished product samples from production for checks and analysis.
• Prepares test solutions, compounds, or reagents for laboratory use.
• Assists QA with failure analyses, corrective and preventive actions, and responses to customer complaints.
• Collaborates with various departments on maintenance of company quality manuals and operating procedures.
• Assists in GMP audits, validation, qualification, and change control processes.
• Helps maintain Product Quality and Technical Files.

Qualifications:

• Nitec in Chemical Process Technology, Pharmacy, or Biotechnology
• At least 1 year of experience as a QC Lab Technician
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (4-day work week and night shifts)
