JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Accountant who is results-driven and proactive in supporting our business needs. The successful candidate will handle accounting and finance functions, including daily operations and preparation of financial and regulatory reports. Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and compliance requirements for a regulated digital exchange are essential.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform daily transactional accounting and ensure timely closing of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounts.
2. Prepare financial statements and management reports, including variance analysis, schedules, and reconciliations.
3. Handle GST submissions.
4. Manage audit and corporate tax-related matters.
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
6. Prepare MAS reporting (CMSL & RMO).
7. Establish and improve accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls.
8. Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; ICPAS CA qualification preferred.
2. At least 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in audit.
3. Solid knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.
4. Experience in Fintech, banking, or MAS reporting (CMAL & RMO) is advantageous.
5. Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently, be proactive, and meet deadlines with a hands-on approach.
