Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the interim office and oversee operations at the upcoming FFLC site in HSS.
- Execute MSF-endorsed marriage and parenting programmes (e.g., Triple P Levels 2–4, Signposts, Purposeful Play, e-PREP, Topical Talks), independently and in collaboration with the team.
- Support the Head in ensuring quality service delivery and achieving MSF’s KPIs.
- Regularly review programme evaluations and feedback, and present findings in team meetings to improve service outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for monthly reporting and annual data verification.
- Uphold organisational values and professional standards in all communication and conduct.
- Conduct research (e.g., focus groups, online surveys) to inform the development of FFLC programmes that meet local needs.
- Develop and deliver topical parenting programmes tailored to school clusters and parent support groups.
- Supervise and support SWAs/PCs in their roles and responsibilities.
- To network and facilitate proper referrals and link up for service users needing additional services to address family issues, ensure appropriate wrap-around care intervention, and develop a nurturing care ecosystem within the HSS region.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of FFLC or Group Director – Family Services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCE ‘’O’’ Level qualification
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Sociology or related disciplines and with 3-5 years of social service experience would be preferred.
- MSF Certified with experience in Family Life Education with school related exposure would be an added advantage
- Have at least 5 years of experience in FLE (not necessarily funded by MSF) or completed 40 hours of co-training with an accepted FLE trainer.
Generic Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in delivering marriage and parenting programmes per organisational models.
- Able to communicate the programme and ideas with stakeholders
- Collaborative team player who contributes ideas and fosters a positive work environment.
- Self-aware and values-driven, especially when working with schools and families.
- Provide coaching to SWAs to develop their skills and knowledge on their jobs to enhance performance.
- Leads by example and supports change and collaboration across the team.
- Able to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Assessment of parenting abilities
- Good knowledge & understanding on the latest developments in both social and health sector in Singapore.
Leadership Competencies:
- Able to supervise SWA/PCs and coordinate with part-time FLE facilitators.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.
