Job description

The Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) is a premier research institute at A*STAR in Singapore. This is a full-time on-site role in Shuang Liu"s lab at IMCB. You will work closely with Dr Liu on pioneering drug discovery initiatives, focusing primarily on molecular glues — small molecules capable of inducing non-native protein-protein interactions to advance next-generation therapeutics. Our goal is to revolutionise small-molecule drug discovery, with strong support for your professional growth and long-term career development.
Key techniques:

  • State-of-the-art DNA-encoded library screening
  • Recombinant protein expression and purification
  • Biophysical and cellular assays for molecular glues

Requirements:
  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biology, or a relatedfield
  • Computational skills are a plus
  • Self-motivated with a strong intellectual curiosity in scientific research
  • Proficiency in conducting meticulous experiments
  • Good organisational and presentation skills
